Hollywood Bascule Bridge Rehabilitation Project
The Bermello, Ajamil & Partners Construction Services division is overseeing electrical and mechanical rehabilitation of a bascule bridge spanning the Intercoastal Waterway. The project also includes architectural improvements to the control house, a new gate house and a decorative balustrade.


79th St. Causeway Bascule Bridge
The 79th Street Bridge, providing access to Miami, traversing North Bay Village and connecting Miami Beach, is a hurricane evacuation route. Bermello, Ajamil & Partners was awarded the Prime Consultant Contract by the Florida Department of Transportation.


S.W. 2nd Avenue Bascule Bridge Replacement
Located on SW 2nd Avenue, the bascule bridge crosses the Miami Canal and connects downtown Miami to SW 8th Street. Bermello, Ajamil & Partners was awarded the Prime Consultant Contract to provide construction management and technical support to the Florida Department of Transportation.


5th St. Bascule Bridge Demolition
The Bermello, Ajamil & Partners Construction Services division is overseeing demolition of the NW 5th Street Bridge over the Miami River. The 70-year old structure is being removed to make way for a new bascule bridge scheduled to break ground in late 2008.


12th Avenue Bascule Bridge
Working with the Florida Department of Transportation, Bermello, Ajamil & Partners is taking part in a three-year, $67 million project replacing an 80-year-old bridge over the Miami River with two double-leaf bascule bridges. The busy Miami corridor along 12th Avenue is a very heavy traffic corridor.
