Palmetto Expressway S.R. 826
Bermello Ajamil & Partners was chosen to provide construction engineering and inspection services for the reconstruction and widening of the Palmetto Expressway from NW 122nd Street to NW 158th Street at Miami Lakes.

Venetian Causeway West Bascule Bridge Replacement and Rehabilitation Phase III
Located on NW 15th Street, the bridge crosses the Intracoastal Waterway, providing access to Miami, traversing the Venetian Causeway Islands, and connecting Miami Beach. It is a hurricane evacuation route and a Historic Landmark.

S.R. 5/US-1 from North of Wabasso Road to South of Harrison Street
Bermello Ajamil & Partners served as prime consultant on this 4-mile milling and resurfacing project. Design improvements consisted of superelevating a section of roadway by overbuilding with asphalt to meet FDOT requirements. Sidewalks were constructed to improve pedestrian circulation.

Improvements to Key Haven Boat Ramp SR 5/Overseas Highway
Bermello Ajamil & Partners was retained by the Florida Department of Transportation, District VI, to prepare the plans for reconstruction of the boat ramp and the associated access improvement on State Road 5/Overseas Highway.

S.R. 5 / US-1 from The Manors at Hobe Sound to Twin Rivers Mobil Park
Bermello Ajamil & Partners was assigned the task of preparing plans for the milling and resurfacing of a 2-mile stretch of road. Several median openings had to be closed and new ones created to satisfy FDOT criteria.
